How do I calculate my EMI?
Open the app and tap "EMI Calculator" on the Home screen. Enter your loan amount, interest rate (% per annum) and loan tenure (months or years). The app instantly calculates your monthly EMI, total interest payable and total amount payable. You can also view the full amortization schedule.
How do I select my country and currency?
On first launch, the app walks you through selecting your country and preferred currency. You can change these later in the Settings tab. The app supports 100+ countries and their respective currencies.
Does the app require an internet connection?
No. All calculations are performed locally on your device. You do not need an internet connection to calculate EMIs, SIPs, or any other financial metric. An internet connection is only required to manage your subscription.
What iOS version is required?
Easy Loan EMI Calculator requires iOS 16.4 or later. It is compatible with iPhone models that support iOS 16.4+.
What is the difference between EMI Calculator and Quick Calculator?
EMI Calculator is the full-featured tool where you enter precise values and get a detailed breakdown including amortization schedule. Quick Calculator uses sliders for fast, approximate calculations when you need a quick estimate on the go.
What does the Advance EMI calculator do?
Advance EMI lets you account for additional parameters like processing fees, down payment, balloon payments and more — giving you a more accurate real-world picture of your loan costs.
How does Compare Loans work?
Compare Loans lets you enter parameters for two or more loans side by side and instantly see which one costs less in total interest, has a lower monthly payment, or is paid off sooner. This is a Premium feature.
What is Pre-Payment and how can it help me?
Pre-Payment calculator shows you how making one-time or recurring extra payments towards your principal reduces your total interest burden and loan tenure. Enter your current loan details plus the extra payment amount to see the savings.
What is the Moratorium calculator?
Moratorium calculator helps you understand the financial impact of a loan repayment holiday (moratorium period) — how much extra interest accrues and what your revised EMI or tenure will be after the moratorium ends.
How do I use the SIP Calculator?
Go to the SIP tab and tap "SIP Calculator". Enter your monthly investment amount, expected annual return rate (%), and investment duration. The app shows your total investment, estimated returns and final corpus.
What is SWP and STP?
SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan) calculates how long your corpus lasts if you withdraw a fixed amount monthly. STP (Systematic Transfer Plan) calculates growth when you transfer a fixed amount from one fund to another regularly.
What is Step-Up SIP?
Step-Up SIP accounts for annual increases in your monthly investment (e.g. increasing by 10% each year as your income grows). This gives a more realistic projection of your wealth creation over time.
What does FD Calculator compute?
FD Calculator computes the maturity amount for a Fixed Deposit given the principal, interest rate, tenure and compounding frequency (quarterly, monthly, annually). It also shows the interest earned.
How is PPF interest calculated?
PPF interest is calculated on the minimum balance between the 5th and last day of each month. Our PPF Calculator reflects this accurately and shows your year-by-year balance growth over the 15-year lock-in period.
What does Premium include?
Premium includes unlimited calculations across all tools, full amortization schedule access, Loan Comparison tool, 100% ad-free experience, and all future features at no extra cost.
How much does Premium cost?
Premium is available for $1.00 per week, charged to your Apple ID. It auto-renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID settings: open Settings → tap your name → Subscriptions → Easy Loan EMI Calculator → Cancel Subscription.
Can I restore a previous purchase?
Yes. In the app, go to the subscription screen and tap "Restore". This will restore your Premium access if you previously subscribed on the same Apple ID.
Is there a free trial?
The core EMI calculator is available for free. Premium features may include a trial period — check the subscription screen in the app for current offers.
How do I change my currency?
Go to the Settings tab (gear icon at the bottom), then tap "Currency". Select your preferred currency from the list. All calculations will update to use the new currency.
The app is showing incorrect values. What should I do?
Please double-check: (1) the interest rate is entered as % per annum, (2) the tenure is in the correct unit (months vs years), and (3) your currency and country are set correctly. If values still seem wrong, please contact our support team.
