Our Commitment
Easy Loan EMI Calculator is a local, offline-first app. The financial data you enter (loan amounts, interest rates, income details, etc.) stays entirely on your device and is never sent to us. We collect only minimal, anonymized data necessary to keep the App running well and fix bugs.
This Privacy Policy describes how Easy Loan EMI Calculator ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our iOS application ("the App"). We want to be clear about what we do not collect: • Your name, email address, phone number or any other personal identifiers • Any financial data you enter into the App (loan amounts, interest rates, income, etc.) • Payment card details or bank account information • Location data (we do not request location permissions) • Contacts, photos, files, or other personal content from your device • Browsing history or data from other apps Your calculations are performed entirely on your device and are never transmitted to us.
We collect limited, anonymized information to operate and improve the App: Crash Reports and Diagnostics If the App crashes, Apple may collect and share anonymized crash data with us (subject to your iOS privacy settings). This includes technical information about the crash but does not identify you personally. Anonymous Analytics We may collect anonymized usage statistics (e.g., which calculator features are most used, session duration). This data is aggregated and cannot be used to identify individual users. You can opt out of Apple's analytics sharing in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. App Store Purchase Data When you subscribe to Premium, Apple processes the payment and shares with us only: whether a subscription is active, the subscription tier, and the subscription renewal date. We never receive your payment card details. Device Information We may receive basic technical information such as iOS version and device type (e.g., iPhone 14 Pro) for compatibility purposes. This is not linked to your identity.
The free version of the App displays advertisements served by third-party advertising networks. These networks may collect information to serve relevant ads in accordance with their own privacy policies. You can limit ad tracking through iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Apple Advertising → turn off "Personalized Ads." The App does not pass any personally identifiable information to advertising networks. Premium subscribers see no advertisements.
The limited information we collect is used solely to: • Maintain and improve the App's stability and performance • Understand which features are most valuable to users • Verify and manage Premium subscription status • Fix bugs and diagnose technical issues • Comply with legal obligations We do not use your data for profiling, behavioral targeting, or selling to third parties.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share limited information in the following circumstances: Apple Inc.: We share subscription status with Apple as part of the App Store ecosystem. Apple's privacy policy governs their use of this data. Service Providers: We may use third-party service providers (e.g., crash reporting tools) who process anonymized data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations. Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental authority. Business Transfer: In the event of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to the same privacy protections.
Since we do not collect personal data, there is nothing personally identifiable for us to retain. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for up to 24 months to identify long-term usage trends, after which it is deleted. Crash report data is retained for up to 90 days. Subscription status information is retained for the duration of your subscription plus a reasonable period thereafter for accounting purposes.
The App is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including: Right to Access: Request information about what data we hold about you. Right to Deletion: Request deletion of data we hold about you. Right to Opt-Out: Opt out of analytics and advertising as described above. Right to Portability: Receive data we hold about you in a portable format. Since we collect minimal anonymized data, most requests will result in confirmation that we hold no personally identifiable information about you. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect the limited data we do process. All communications between the App and external services use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS). However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The App may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., the App Store). This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.
The App is available globally. If you are located outside of the country where our services are hosted, please be aware that your information may be transferred to and processed in other countries. By using the App, you consent to such transfers. For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), UK or Switzerland: We process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable local laws. Our lawful basis for processing is legitimate interests in maintaining and improving the App.
